Malaysia Vasudevan, born on June 15, 1944, in Malaysia, was a legendary playback singer and actor whose career spanned decades. His versatile voice became synonymous with hit songs, working with the greatest music directors like Ilaiyaraaja. Malaysia Vasudevan lent his voice to superstars like Rajinikanth and Sivaji Ganesan, and he is remembered for his soul-stirring performances. With over 8,000 songs across genres, his contribution to Tamil music is unparalleled, earning him accolades, including the prestigious Kalaimamani Award.
To mark this special occasion, Abbas Cultural, Rambutan Media Works, and Virtuous Loop Entertainment have come together to present MV 80, a grand tribute to Malaysia Vasudevan’s illustrious career. His son, Yugendran Vasudevan, will take the stage to honor his father by performing some of his timeless hits. Alongside him will be a host of renowned performers, including SPB Charan, Srinivas, Unni Krishnan, Devan Ekambaram, Mukesh, Senthil Das, Shenbagaraj, Narayanan Ravishankar, Gokul (Dubai), Dr. Ravi (Dubai), and many more.
The concert will be accompanied by the talented Udhaya Raagam UK Murali’s Band, setting the perfect musical backdrop for an evening filled with nostalgia and melody.
