Ajith Kumar Meets Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi on ‘Vishwambara’ Sets

Ajith Kumar and Chiranjeevi, two legends of the South Indian film industry, recently had a memorable meeting at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Both stars were busy shooting their respective films, with Ajith working on “Good Bad Ugly” and Chiranjeevi on “Vishwambara.” The proximity of their shooting locations allowed the Tamil star to visit the veteran Telugu actor, who had launched him in Telugu cinema with the film “Prema Pustakam” in 1993.

Chiranjeevi shared the heartwarming moment on social media, reminiscing about their long-standing relationship. He fondly recalled the film “Jagadekaveerudu Atilokasundari,” in which Ajith’s wife, Shalini, appeared as a child artiste. “Had a surprise star guest on the sets of #Vishwambara last evening. The very affectionate Ajith Kumar, who’s shooting next door, visited & we spent some great time chatting up and fondly recollecting the time of his debut film ‘Prema Pustakam,’ whose music launch was done by me. And what’s more, his better half, Shalini, acted as one of the endearing kids in my film ‘Jagadekaveerudu Atilokasundari.’ Clearly, there were memories galore to cherish. I was so delighted at the peaks of stardom Ajith has attained over the years and yet how he remained a beautiful soul at heart!” Chiranjeevi wrote.

This meeting is exciting news for Ajith’s fans, as it confirms that “Good Bad Ugly” is already in production, while “Vidaamuyarchi” is in post-production. Ajith has not had a release since last Pongal, leaving fans eagerly awaiting new films. With “Good Bad Ugly” progressing swiftly, it looks like they will be treated to back-to-back movies soon.

Details about “Good Bad Ugly” remain under wraps. The film is directed by Adhik Ravichander, who gained fame with “Mark Antony” and is an ardent fan of Ajith. Devi Sri Prasad, who previously worked with Ajith on “Veeram,” is composing the music. The cast details are still a mystery, but the film is expected to be released around Pongal 2024.
