Eligibility Criteria:

• Each player is entitled to participate in a maximum of 4 events.
• Pro Player Definition: Professional pickleball player with a rating of 4.0 or more.
• Advanced Player Definition: A player who has never won any medal in the open category of pickleball tournaments.
• Age Categories:
  • Under 10: Born on or after July 26, 2014
  • Under 14: Born on or after July 26, 2010
  • Under 19: Born on or after July 26, 2005
  • 35+: Born on or before July 26, 1989
  • 50+: Born on or before July 26, 1974
• All players must bring their Aadhar card for verification.

Registration Procedure:

• All players must register for the tournament by purchasing tickets for their respective categories.
• For New Players: Create a Pickleball Global ID at Pickleball Global.

Entry Fees:

• ₹700 per player per event for all singles.
• ₹1200 per team per event for all doubles.
• ₹500 per player per event for all U14 and U19 singles.
• ₹800 per team per event for all U14 and U19 doubles.
• ₹200 per player per event for all U10 Singles.
• Last Date for Registration: July 16, 2024

Facilities:

• Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments will be provided.

Scoring and Selection Details:

• All singles and doubles matches will be in a round-robin format.
• Matches will be regular service points to 11, win by 1 point.
• Semifinal and bronze medal matches will be regular service points to 11, win by 2 points.
• Gold & Silver medal matches in certain categories will be decided by the best of 3 sets with regular service points to 11, win by 2 points.
• For categories with a single flight, winners will be decided based on round-robin results.
• In case of a tie, a match will be played to determine the winner.
• TNPA reserves the right to make final decisions on any matters.

Awards:

• Certificates, Medals, and Trophies will be awarded.

Tournament Guidelines:

• The tournament is open to Tamil Nadu players only.
• Players must report at least 30 minutes before their scheduled match time.
• Only non-marking or tennis shoes are allowed.
• The organizers reserve the right to modify rules or cancel categories if necessary.
• Players are expected to maintain high sportsmanship and integrity.
• The umpire’s call is final.
